Sherry Henderson

Director of Choreography

Sherry has been involved with Starlight since the beginning and is so proud of its accomplishments.

Sherry is a veteran of the stage, starting her career at the age of 7 in the Broadway production of Annie. This was followed with musicals such as 42nd Street, the King and I, and the Wizard of Oz. She has performed at Radio City Music Hall with Liza Minnelli and toured the U.S. and Europe with her show Steppin' Out.

Sherry has been teaching dance and choreographing for over 16 years and it has been a great journey. She would like to thank her husband, Jim, and children, Jaden and Molly, for their support and making the journey that much more enriched.

Kristen Rebb

Artistic Director

Kristin is a charter member of Starlight. She has truly enjoyed directing the music for Starlight's productions: Into the Woods, A Christmas Carol, The Sound of Music, and High School Musical.

An Arizona native, Kristin earned with honors a BS degree in music education, specializing in vocal music. She then went on to earn with honors a MA degree in music education from Arizona State University. She has taught vocal instruction and general music for the past 14 years, both privately and in the public education system. She is currently the music/choral director at Sunset Ridge Elementary.

Kristin has performed in many diverse venues including traveling with choral groups to Las Vegas, Santa Fe, Los Angeles, as well as performing with the Phoenix Symphony. Not only does she love to perform, she has a passion for providing opportunities for her students. She has taken students to perform at vocal festivals such as Arizona All-State and Arizona Solo and Ensemble. She and her students performed in the half-time show of Superbowl XXX.

As the music/choral director at Sunset Ridge, Kristin loves to direct grade level music programs, involving up to 150 students on stage at a time. What she loves best is being able to share her gift of music with others and then watch them learn, grow, and shine on stage.

The Rebbs are a musical family, as Kristin is married to the very talented Mike Rebb. They have 2 daughters who promise to follow in the family's musical footsteps.
